Giving to Pike Market Child Care and Preschool

Voluntary support for PMCCP comes from generous donors representing every constituency. Through such support, gifts to our Annual Fund supplement the budget for current operations. Working thoughtfully with donors in order to understand their goals, PMCCP carefully stewards all gifts to honor donor wishes and intentions.

*Ellen Greene Crisis Fund

Established in 2012, the Ellen Greene Crisis Fund, honors Ellen’s tireless efforts on behalf of children and families in the Market.  Ellen was the Executive Director of the Preschool from 2005-2012. The purpose of this Fund is to provide short-term tuition assistance (or additional assistance) for families in our program that are experiencing crisis or unexpected hardship.  This crisis might be due to an event like job loss, prolonged illness, flood, or fire, resulting in a significant impact to income or expenses.  The Fund may also be used to assist families while they are on the waiting list for a child care subsidy from the state or the City of Seattle. If you are interested in giving to this fund, please contact Ilene.
